OUR DREAMER

Sh.

Namaste, my
name is Sh!

I’m fourteen years old and growing up in the Ombir Family together with my sister Sa.

Although I seem pretty tough, I’m quite sensitive on the inside. Maybe I've been hurt too often. I’m very helpful and friendly towards others and like to take care of my sister Sa. If you’re wondering what I like doing the most. Then it has to be playing video games on Mick's phone. I like that so much!

I am very shy

The thing that not many people know about me, not even my brothers and sisters are aware of this, is that I’m very shy. I find it hard to be alone at school. Even when I’m in the classroom with my friends, I feel very shy at school. I'm afraid of making mistakes.

I am proud of myself when..

It makes me feel proud of myself to help someone else with their work. My sisters don't like drawing, but I really enjoy it. I like to be creative and I’m good at drawing. In secret, I do the drawings for my sisters’ homework so that they can get it finished.

Playing football on the roof terrace

I really enjoy playing video games on Mick's phone, but of course, this is not always allowed. Actually, this is only allowed on Saturdays when it’s our day off and we’ve washed our school uniforms. When outside, I like to play badminton or cricket. Although we always end up playing football on the roof terrace, ha-ha.

I hope to see
you in the future!

When I grow up, I’d like to be a professional football player, just like my hero Virgil van Dijk. If it would ever happen that I would wake up one day and meet him, I’d ask him how I could make my dreams come true, to sign my Liverpool shirt I got from him for Christmas and, of course, I’d also like to play football with him and take a selfie together. I want it all, ha-ha.

As a young boy, the future is still far away. I’m fortunate that I can go to school every day, as I really enjoy it. Going to school brings me a step closer every day to my dream.

Thanks to you, I can go to school every day and can realize my dreams. We are embarking on a special adventure together. Not only do you enrich my world, but I also yours.

You will always be the first to receive my school report, new photos and I hope we will send letters to each other; that would be great!
